"Art gives us the freedom to question what is.
And in doing so, there is no truth - only cognitive distortions.
Art changes how and what we perceive. It makes ideas imaginable."
Katrin Brackmann

We see things not as they are,
but as we are - Talmud

Katrin Brackmann experiments with the transitions of perception, consciousness and truths.
Her artistic motivation is to question reality and concepts and to explore partly unconscious aspects of self-awareness and spirituality. Art is a window to another world, it broadens the mind, makes us imagine things, doubt others and intuitively understand.
